We have no shortage of things to be grateful for this year and we enjoyed celebrating Thanksgiving at our home with friends. Our $60 turkey served us all well and we enjoyed a warm day full of sunshine, badminton, and gratitude.
The kids' school was invited to perform at the Ambassador's residence for a gathering of all Americans. They did a great job, though R was sick and got so dehydrated he spent the entire next day of Thanksgiving quite sick. For him to miss food, especially Thanksgiving food, you know he was sick. We were fortunately able to avert having to give him an IV but only after a pretty miserable experience. Poor guy. But don't they look great, all these pumkins, turkeys, and indians?
