I hesitate to post this for fear of offending someone or something, but I couldn't resist.
We have a puja room in our home. For those of you non-Hindus, a puja room is a sacrosanct place where the family deity and gods are housed. It is a place for praying, meditating, and offering sweets and other gifts to deity. Ideally it is to be kept sparkling clean with the least possible distraction.
So, this was a natural playroom for the kids. Sorry in advance for offending any spirits.
And to be honest, it houses Little Pet Shop quite nicely, with lots of ledges and nooks. I suppose this is my offering to my children.
We have friends here who use their puja room as a playroom, too, only they have Curious George vinyl stickers all over the wall :)
