We had a day off for Nepali New Year (welcome 2069!) and so we went to the Hyatt. We really tried to do something else, something less embarrassing, something more cultural. But in the end, we didn't, and none of us regretted it. We packed up like we were going on a real live trip, and drove 5 minutes away..
That five minutes is a thousand lightyears away. Y even asked, "what country are we in?" That's how far away we felt. The pool was a hit.
Since it was Nepali New Year we walked over to Bodnath Stupa, which was like Times Square. Can you spy Addie?
We wandered through the grounds and soaked it all in.
I didn't take a picture of the food because I was too busy eating it...
We came home the next day but felt like we had traveled far and well. Maybe we'll do it again tomorrow...
